ham eed ko ek utsav ke roop mein manaate the

ab bas itana hee samay beet raha hai

We used to celebrate Eid as a celebration

Now it’s just that time passes

aur vismrt smrtiyon kee sarasaraahat badhatee hai

eed ke din sirph ghaav bharate hain

And the rustle of forgotten memories grows

The day of Eid only heals wounds

is pratidvandvita ko khel se hata do doston

eed gile-shikave bhulaane aaee hai

Remove this rivalry friends from the game

Eid has come to forget the grievances

ye saal bhee tumhen dekhe bina beet gaya

eed teree hogee jaalim, meree eed na huee

Even this year has passed without seeing you

Eid will be yours, cruel, my Eid did not happen

eed beet chukee hai, to mainne isake baare mein socha

unhonne kaha, “eed ka din kaisa raha?”

Eid has passed, so I thought about it

He said, “How was the day of Eid?”

kisee ko aapakee ichchha kee ummeed hai.

aapako dekhakar meree aatma khush ho jaatee hai.

Someone hopes for your wish.

Seeing you makes my soul happy.

sansaar ka niyam hai, par yah bata

hamen kisase milana chaahie?

It is the law of the world, but tell me this

Who should we meet?
