जब दुश्मन अपने इरादे छोड़ रहा हो

The love of the country is running in the veins
When the enemy is leaving his intentions
دعوی جو کرتا تھا گلستاں کی حفاظت کا
اسی نے تو ہر شاخ چمن کو نوچ رکھا ہے
दावा जो गुलस्तान की रक्षा करता था
उसने चमन की हर डाल नोच ली है
daava jo gulastaan kee raksha karata tha
usane chaman kee har daal noch lee hai
The claim that used to protect Gulastan
He has scratched every branch of the chaman
وطن کی آبرو رکھنا ہے ہماے خون میں شامل
یہ کس نے کہہ دیا کی وفادار نہیں ہم
देश का मान रखना हमारे खून में है
किसने कहा कि हम वफादार नहीं हैं?
desh ka maan rakhana hamaare khoon mein hai
kisane kaha ki ham vaphaadaar nahin hain?
Keeping the honor of the country is in our blood
Who said that we are not loyal?
اے وطن ہم ہیں تیری شمع کے پروانوں میں
زندگی ہوش میں ہے جوش ہے دیوانوں میں
हे मातृभूमि, हम आपकी मोमबत्ती के पंखों में हैं
मन में प्राण है, दीवानों में उत्साह है
he maatrbhoomi, ham aapakee momabattee ke pankhon mein hain
man mein praan hai, deevaanon mein utsaah hai
O homeland, we are in the wings of your candle
Life is in the mind, excitement is in the mad
ثبوت کیا دوں تجھے اپنے وطن پرستی کا اے ظالم
پانی نا ہو تو وضو بھی اسی مٹی سے کرتے ہیں
मैं तुझे अपनी देशभक्ति का क्या सबूत दूं, ओ जालिम?
पानी न होने पर उसी मिट्टी से वुजू करते हैं
main tujhe apanee deshabhakti ka kya saboot doon, o jaalim?
paanee na hone par usee mittee se vujoo karate hain
What proof shall I give you of my patriotism, O cruel one?
If there is no water, they perform ablution with the same soil
اپنا معیار ہے شاہوں سے بغاوت کرنا
میں الجھتا ہوں فقط وطن کے غداروں سے
उनका मानक राजाओं के खिलाफ विद्रोह करना है
मैं देश के गद्दारों से ही भ्रमित हूं
unaka maanak raajaon ke khilaaph vidroh karana hai
main desh ke gaddaaron se hee bhramit hoon
Their standard is to rebel against the kings
I am confused only with traitors to the country
ہوگا مشہور حسن شہزادوں کا زمانے میں
مگر پہن کر وردی ہم بھی کمال لگتے ہیں
बादशाहों के जमाने में मशहूर होगा हसन
लेकिन वर्दी पहनकर हम भी कमाल के लगते हैं
baadashaahon ke jamaane mein mashahoor hoga hasan
lekin vardee pahanakar ham bhee kamaal ke lagate hain
Hasan will be famous in the era of princes
But wearing a uniform we also look amazing
یوں ہی نہیں ملتی یہ رنگ برنگی وردی
کلیجہ کاٹ کے اپنوں کو بھلانا پڑتا ہے
इस रंगीन वर्दी को पाने का यही एकमात्र तरीका नहीं है
किडनी काटनी पड़ती है और अपने को भूल जाना पड़ता है
is rangeen vardee ko paane ka yahee ekamaatr tareeka nahin hai
kidanee kaatanee padatee hai aur apane ko bhool jaana padata hai
This is not the only way to get this colorful uniform
One has to cut the kidney and forget oneself
کتنے شہیدوں نے اپنا لہو اس زمین پر بہایا ہے
تب جاکے یہ وطن وجود میں آیا ہے
इस धरती पर कितने शहीदों ने अपना खून बहाया है
तब से यह देश अस्तित्व में आया है
is dharatee par kitane shaheedon ne apana khoon bahaaya hai
tab se yah desh aactivemein aaya hai
How many martyrs have shed their blood on this land
Since then, this country has come into being
ﺳﺠﺪﮮ ﻣﯿﮟ ﮨﻢ ﻧﮯ ﮔﺮ ﮐﺮ ﻣﺎﻧﮕﯽ ﮨﮯ ﯾﮧ ﺩﻋﺎ
ﻣﯿﺮﮮ ﻭﻃﻦ ﮐﻮ ﺳﻼﻣﺖ ﺭکھنا ﻣﯿﺮﮮ ﺍﻟﻠﮧ
सजदे में हमने यही दुआ मांगी है
अल्लाह मेरे देश को सलामत रखे
sajade mein hamane yahee dua maangee hai
allaah mere desh ko salaamat rakhe
In Sajdah, we have asked for this prayer
May Allah keep my country safe
ہے جرم اگر وطن کی مٹی سے محبت
تو یہ جرم سدا میرے حسابوں میں رہے گا
देश की मिट्टी से प्यार करना गुनाह है
तो यह अपराध मेरे हिसाब में हमेशा रहेगा
desh kee mittee se pyaar karana gunaah hai
to yah aparaadh mere hisaab mein hamesha rahega
It is a crime to love the soil of the country
So this crime will always remain in my calculations
چاند روشن چمکتا ستارہ رہے
سب سے اونچا یہ پرچم ہمارا رہے
चाँद तेज चमके
यह झंडा हमारा हो
chaand tej chamake
yah jhanda hamaara ho
May the moon shine brightly
May this flag be ours
ہر کسی کو میسر نہیں شہادت کا رتبہ
یہ عزم ہے اپنی مٹی کے لیے قربان ہونے والوں کا
शहादत का दर्जा हर किसी को नहीं होता
यह उन लोगों की प्रतिबद्धता है जिन्होंने अपनी मिट्टी के लिए बलिदान दिया
shahaadat ka darja har kisee ko nahin hota
yah un logon kee pratibaddhata hai jinhonne apanee mittee ke lie
balidaan diya
Not everyone has the status of martyrdom
This is the commitment of those who sacrificed for their soil
